Tell us about your Photographer / photos
We had Thierry Boudan as our photographer. The man himself! He was so friendly, professional and made us feel ease. Theirry goes above and beyond - including getting in his underwear and walking out into the water just to get that perfect shot. We could not be happier with the photos and his professionalism on the day. Highly recommend Thierry!

How did you meet?
Ben was a familiar face from when I quite young, I used to see him walk around the streets all the time - turns out he was also friends with my oldest brother! We initially first met at a mutual friend's wake (Not that romantic), we spoke for a while that day and started a friendship from there.
How did he/she propose?'
Ben proposed in our favourite place - Treasure Island Fiji. Just off the island is a private sandbank (which wasn't so private at the time as there was boats full of people doing a snorkelling trip) Ben was nervous, didn't help that i kept playing around with his bag that had the ring in it (wrapped in a pair of socks) He waited until all but 2 people had left and then he got down to business. I am very gullible, it was pretty easy for Ben to trick me into having a look at "a shell" by the waters edge before he got down to his knee and asked me to marry him.
Tell us about the wedding dress?
I chose to go Madi Lane for my wedding gown, a designer from Byron Bay. I couldn't have imagined a more perfect dress. I was looking for a dress which could be worn barefoot and have a boho feel, but still looked like a wedding gown.
Tell us about the ceremony?
Growing up on the Northern Beaches its pretty safe to say that we love the beach! We always new we would have our wedding somewhere with sand and water and after seeing Caves Beach we new straight away that's where we wanted to get married.
Tell us about the reception?
For the reception we wanted something fun and not to formal! We had the room set up to be formal sit down for dinner on one side of the room, then had cocktail / casual seating with photobooth around the dance floor for after dinner fun and celebrations.
What was the most memorable moment?
Most memorable moment would be the ceremony and our vows!
Please list the menu and meal details:
Entrée Seared scallops with cauliflower puree, guanciale & sage Roast baby beetroot with ashed goat's feta, black cherry vinegar & charcoal bread Mains Grilled lamb loin with smoked eggplant, edamame, cumin aioli & shiso Grilled salmon with fennel puree, broccolini & snow pea pistou Dessert Wedding cake served on tea and coffee station
Did you have a budget and were you able to stick to it?
We didn't have a budget as such, but were trying to save money where we could. It was such an important day to us that we didn't want to miss out on anything that we wanted! If it cost extra, so be it. Our day was perfect!
What was your colour theme and colour palette if applicable?
We went with a Boho theme and used timber, greenery and golds as our colour palette
What was the total cost of your wedding (excluding honeymoon)?
Around $40k
What did you do for your Hens & Bucks Parties?
Hens had a Sydney Harbour cruise followed by dinner / drinks in Manly. The bucks had a dress up golf day followed by drinks. Both the hens & bucks had a penthouse to go back to for the night.
Where did/will you go on your Honeymoon
We went to New Zealand for 3 weeks and traveled both islands by motor home. We started in Queenstown and finished in Auckland. Such a beautiful country to explore.
