This was such a fun wedding to be part of. The day had a great feel from the start, everyone was excited, and once things got moving it all came together really well. There was plenty happening, but it never felt stressful. It just felt like a good wedding with good people, and that always comes through in the photos.

Brittaney got ready in Pokolbin, and Joel and the boys were close by as well, which made the morning easy to cover. The bridal party brought such a good energy to the day right from the start. They were excited, ready to party, and there were laughs all through the morning and across the whole day. It made everything more enjoyable and gave the day a really fun feel before the ceremony had even started.

One of the most emotional parts of the day was Brittaney’s first look with her dad. The moment he saw her was really moving, and you could feel just how much it meant. Those are the moments that stay with people, and it was a special part of the day to capture.

Their ceremony was held at Chateau Elan at The Vintage, which is always a great spot for a wedding. Everything is close, the grounds look great, and it makes the whole day feel easy. Once the ceremony wrapped up, we had the chance to get straight into photos around the property while everyone else moved into celebration mode.

One of the best parts of the day was getting out around the grounds for photos. We spent time photographing in the vines, which Brittaney had always dreamed of, so that made that part of the day even more special. The Hunter Valley is perfect for that, and it gave us a beautiful setting without needing to overthink it. Brittaney and Joel were so easy to photograph because they were just having a good time together. Nothing felt stiff or forced. They were relaxed, happy, and fully into the day, which made that part of it really enjoyable.

The light later in the day was so good as well. Around the Hunter Valley, when the light starts to drop, everything softens off and the whole place just works. We got some really nice photos during that part of the afternoon, and it gave them a chance to step away for a few minutes and just enjoy it all.

The reception was in the Barrington Room, and once everyone made their way inside, the night really kicked off. It had a great atmosphere straight away and you could tell people were ready for a big night. It was one of those receptions where the energy built quickly and stayed there.

A really fun part of the night was when Brittaney changed into a sexy party dress. That gave the reception a completely different feel and really lifted the night again. It was such a good move and it suited the mood perfectly. It felt like the signal that the formal part of the day was done and now it was time to really enjoy the party.

What stood out most with these two was how much they were enjoying it. They were not trying too hard to make the day into something it was not. They were just into it, excited to be there, and happy to celebrate with everyone around them. That made the whole wedding feel natural, fun, and easy to be part of.
